Harmony in Life



Harmony in Life Harmony is a precious treasure of human life. Real success, satisfaction, and happiness
are just different facets of harmony. If we wish to enjoy the benefits of life fully,
it is necessary for us to develop and maintain harmony. To accomplish this, understanding and practice
are required.

Harmony should be maintained in five aspects
of life: (1) Between body and life;
(2) Between wisdom and habits; (3) Between self and society;
(4) Between purpose of life and method of living; and
(5) Between Will and Nature. The more we understand life, the more we will
achieve harmony. And success will be in proportion to that. There is no doubt that making life harmonious
is a difficult task, but it is worth the effort, because it is the only way we can equip ourselves
to enjoy life to its fullest extent and reach its ultimate goal.

The plan seems difficult only at the beginning. As we proceed, the task lightens and the practice
itself stimulates enthusiasm. Experience at this stage reveals to us that
making life harmonious helps to remove obstacles and solves problems in life. Then one's interest increases to the point
of becoming a yearning.

Harmonization is the act of streamlining the
mind and disciplining the body by following five important principles: (1) Perspicacity; (2) Receptivity; (3) Adaptability;
(4) Creativity; and (5) Magnanimity. We all agree that contentment and peace are
very essential for human life. Should we not then begin immediately to strive
to understand life and cultivate the five principles and enjoy the benefits of doing
